About
Axolingua is two real people, not a language school. We teach Spanish and English to real people: expats building a life in CDMX, professionals who need to perform in another language, and anyone who wants to go deeper than a classroom ever allowed.
Our story
We both come from academic linguistics: years of research and university teaching in the United States, Mexico, and Argentina. Along the way we learned something the language industry finds uncomfortable: the standard curriculum fits almost no one well.
That's why Axolingua has no fixed curriculum. Every program is designed around the person: their goals, their profession, their daily life — and adjusted session by session. Your syllabus is a living document, not a plan that gets filed away.
We also use state-of-the-art AI tools as part of our methodology, not as a substitute for teaching, but as a way to personalize materials and practice at a level that simply wasn't possible before.

The team
An academic linguist with an M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Arizona and a B.A. in Spanish–English Translation & Interpretation from UMSA (Argentina). Over 15 years teaching Spanish at every level, at universities including Arizona, UNC Charlotte, and Buenos Aires.

A computational linguist with an M.S. in Human Language Technology and an M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics from the University of Arizona, and a PhD candidate in Spanish (ABD). Nearly a decade of university-level Spanish instruction (University of Arizona, Tec de Monterrey, UAQ).
